Science and Culture of Water

The area of Northern Michigan has been the home of the Odawa for many centuries. This land has often had a turbulent history for the Odawa, as many battles have been fought for the tribe to remain home. From global wars to government removal, the Odawa have maintained a place in the lands of their ancestors. Come hear this story of perseverance and dedication to the land by a tribal community. Presented by Eric Hemenway, Director of Archives and Records at the Little  Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians.
